I honestly got hooked on eToro because of the copy trading feature - being able to automatically mirror successful traders' moves has taught me so much and actually made me money while I was still learning. The social aspect is really cool too, but sometimes I get frustrated with the limited charting tools when I want to do my own technical analysis instead of just following others.

Used HTX for altcoins - lots of trading pairs and low fees, which is great. Just not 100% confident in how transparent or safe it is, so I don’t keep large amounts there.
I love how simple Coinbase makes buying crypto - it's literally the easiest platform I've used to get started, and I never worry about security issues with them.

XTB is generally a solid choice if you want a broker that blends competitive costs with a decent trading platform. Their xStation 5 is fast, user-friendly, and packed with useful tools, especially for charting and sentiment analysis, which is nice if you don’t want to juggle multiple apps. They’re also well-regulated (FCA, CySEC, KNF), which adds trust points.
I've been using Coinbase Wallet for my DeFi adventures and really love how it gives me complete control over my crypto without relying on exchanges - plus it connects to way more dApps than I expected. The interface is much more beginner-friendly than other self-custody wallets I've tried, though I definitely had some expensive lessons early on when I didn't pay attention to those Ethereum gas fees!
